The Love List

Spy. Loveable loser and struggling father, Tim, accidentally gets a job at MI5. Hilarity ensues. Darren Boyd comic timing is enviable and really makes the show. Plus there's a kid that's impossibly smart and a total dick about it which is one of my favorite tv tropes. Series One available on Hulu Plus (Series Two coming next Fall).

Finding a slim fitted prepregnancy sweater (that I could've sworn I'd lost) and it actually fitting well! Woo-hoo!
Said sweater. Said happiness.

Continuing to settle in to our new place in lots of little fun ways. Hanging prints, finding adorable magnets, and a new, lovely rug (b-day gift from my pops) are all warming up the space. After months of procrastinating and general blaming it on the baby we are finally "settling in" aka getting off our bums. It's the little things that make a place feel like home, you know?

Lana Del Rey- Video Games. This song has been stuck in my head for months, but I think it's only getting better with time. With our unseasonable warm weather I just want to drive around with the windows down singing this song at the top of my lungs. "He holds me in his big arms/ Drunk and I am seeing stars/ This is all I think of..."

First Aid Kit- Our Own Pretty Ways. Everything about this song makes me happy. "Even the most peaceful town once was a battleground/ Well we all change in our own ways/ In our own pretty ways..."

Having the energy and drive to devote to my yoga practice and working out. It's still slow going, but I am just thrilled to finally have the time and desire back! I actually ran an entire mile this weekend. What? I don't think I have actually ran an entire mile since I was officially required to in order to pass Freshman P.E. and even then I probably walked part of it. So for not being a runner in the slightest it felt very, very good (you know after feeling very, very bad for a minute).

Tempesto! Yum! I can't wait to try this.

Ezra's new precrawling attempts. He is now able to pull himself up onto all fours and move his hips like a fly girl humping the ground. It's hilarious and awesome and I seriously need to start baby-proofing.

And those are the top LOVES around these parts. What's bringing you joy this week?

Great prints, love the glimpses of your new decor! I'm loving scrambled eggs this week (can't remember if you're vegan so maybe scrambled tofu for you!). I'd forgotten about them for a while but I'm on a kick :)

Being at home with Caleb and the dog is what has been making me happy. It's what always does and will. <3

I'm sure you wrote something lovely in this post, but I am just so distracted from any words by your son's GORGEOUSNESS! His level of snugglebugitude is WAY off the charts.

P.S. I'm loving not feeling quite so exhausted and sick all the time. I'm even making up with food! Yay, food!

Thanks! (Long story short I was a vegan before I got pregnant, switched to vegetarian during pregnancy, now trying to get back into the vegan swing.) Rediscovering old food crushes is the best!

Thank you, Noelle! Sometimes it's just ridiculous how cute he is! I know I'm completely biased, so it's good to know it's not just me.

So happy that you and food are getting back together! Yay, food! And a big YAY to moving past the feeling like poo phase!
