The Love List

On rotation this week is Ani Difranco's Which Side Are You On? I love the return of those riled up, politically charged tracks, but what I've been enjoying most about this album is its love songs. "I just don’t want to strive for nothing anymore/ I just want to lie here with you/ Keep the wolves outside the door/ There is nothing in this world you could ever show me that could ever matter more…"

"Hearse"

"Albacore"

Los Campesinos "By Your Hand" is my new 'on the way to work' sing-along. It's perfectly engineered to belt out at the top of your lungs and lasts pretty much the exact amount of time it takes me to get to the museum. Also, the video is total hipster porn. You're gonna love it. Trust me. "You'll sing me lullabies in form of your cat calls..."

Love is like a Great Dane puppy. Although I'm not sure what it says about me, I completely identify with this.

Stunning. These photos make me miss that feeling of being round and full of life. Seriously, beautiful.

Arrested Downton. Two of my favorite things together at last.

And because, like me, you can't get enough of Downton Abbey

This week has already been such a gift in our house. We are all sleeping well (WOO-HOO!), the puppy is groomed (no more smelly Ellie), we've gone antique shopping with Ez (with so much to look at- he loved it!) and made some more really amazing finds for our new place.

And those are the top LOVES around these parts. What's bringing you joy this week?

Those are amazing photos- I can't even imagine how some of them were achieved. We're getting some joy from the shining sun and what seems to be the end of our sniffles :)

I hope you come across some great antique finds while you all are out.

My new platform bed is brining me joy. <3

I know. Aren't they amazing? I just kept looking at them over and over. Beautiful.

Happy day to the end of sniffles! So sorry your little family has been sick. Wishing you all a speedy recovery!
