Snow

Very early this morning we had our first snow of the season here in Missouri. As Ezra looked out the window saying "nows! nows!" I saw the snow a little differently, through his eyes of newness. In my overzealous excitement I bundled us up in layers and layers and went outside to roll around in some beautiful, beautiful nows.

After twenty minutes of bundling we took about ten steps out the door, felt the bitter cold and the blasting winds and turned right back around. Snow really is beautiful, but I think we've decided (at least for today) to enjoy it from inside.

Oh wow! I found your blog through Project Little Smith and just realized that we are in the same great state of Missouri! And too funny, I bundled up my three littles and headed outside too (though in St. Louis, we only got a light dusting of snow) but that wind was bitterly cold, so we didn't last long!

Off to check out more of your blog-- it looks great!

I'm jealous, this is a bummer if a Christmas with no snow at all. We got W these little skis just to play around in and I'm really hoping he gets to use them. Enjoy it, and get cozy :)
